CCIC NA HELD THE SECOND TRAINING ON THE NEW E-PSI SYSTEM

CCIC NA held the 2nd training on the E-PSI System at Countyard of LA Hotel on 4/26/06, there are 60 person from 18 self-inspection companies attending the training. Mr. Baolong Qian, President of CCIC NA gave an very important lecture about the implements plan of the E-PSI System, and on behalf of CIC NA, he appreciate the support and help from the applicants.

The contents of the training program for the E-PSI system are: sofeware/hardware requirements , operation requirements and management requirements. The 16 companies will begin to use the new E-PSI SYSTEM from 05/01/06. All the applicants will submit fully through the E-PSI System from 05/15/06. 

The E-PSI System is an electronic system developed by CNCA & CCIC for the purpose of the convenience of our customers to handle their application on-line. The  E-PSI System is a web-based system without limitations on time and location. In the near future, the E PSI SYSTEM will be connected to the Electronic Management System with CIQ. The CIQ in China can get the certificate info electronically from the Electronic Management System. E-certificate can help applicants save time, reduce workload and postage expenses. Also the E-PSI System will help on identifing the fraud certificates. On the other hand, the E-PSI SYSTEM can act as a database designed for applicants, and will be helpful on management for applicants. All applicants can submit applications, check applications’ status online.
Two training sessions has already been held by CCIC NA for applicants since Feb,2006. We’ll have trainings step by step for other applicants, the 3rd training will be held on June, 2006. the E-PSI system will enforce on Sep 01,2006 for all the applicants.
